Pixartprinting’s offset campaign boosts large-format banner orders

Online print provider Pixartprinting has invested 8m Euro in new printing capacity, including two additional HP latex printers (which brings the number up to six). Though the company’s recent marketing focus has been on offset production, the promotional campaign has also spurned new demand for large-format banners, prompting the purchase of the latest two latex machines.

Matteo Rigamonti, CEO of pixartprinting, explained: “The very aggressive promotion campaign we have managed in the last months for offset product has also had results in terms of increased of orders for other categories of product, most of all banners! That’s why the company has decided to invest in these two new HP latex printers. That’s a very easy marketing rule - when you push a special offer with a very competitive price, customers enter the website to buy that product but at the same time they look at the whole offer and can find something else they are interested in. So it could sound as a little bit strange but thanks to the offset campaign, the request for banners in the last months is increased.”

Apart from the latex printers Pixartprinting’s latest investment includes two eight-colour Komori 70x100cm presses and four HP Indigo 7500 machines.
