October’s Sign and Digital Ireland postponed
The Sign and Digital Ireland and Print Ireland exhibitions planned to run in Dublin this October have been postponed. Instead, the shows will run in autumn 2012.
Rudi Blackett, event director, said: “Although there are a number of stands already booked for the October 2011 shows, we feel that the decision to postpone the event until next year is the correct one, given the situation with the economy in Ireland. It should give the market more time to recover, especially the availability of credit for capital purchases and other types of investment.
“We are currently in discussion with venues about our preferred dates and we look forward to working with the industry on a successful 2012 event.”
