New sign business created

Create Signs is a newly formed company in Cambridge. The company has set up shop with a Mimaki JV33 printer and a Seal 62 base laminator, bought from Robert Horne, to offer banners, vehicle graphics, large-format posters, prints and canvas and multi-run stickers for the corporate and exhibition markets.

Craig Parmenter, director at Create Sign, said: “We have used Mimaki printers for many years and have found them to be very reliable. With great external print life expectancy, they are extremely durable and can print on a wide range of materials without compromising on quality. The finished print from the solvent-based JV33 easily outshines the competition to my mind. In its higher print mode it is not far away from matching the top-end aqueous printers. Seal laminators stand out amongst the competition due to their quality and reliability.

“Although such purchases are a significant investment, it allows us to operate across a large range of disciplines, quickly, reliably and to an extremely high standard.”
