ArtSystems appointment focuses on quality management
ArtSystems has appointed general manager Simon Cooksey to the new role of operations director. His remit is to take forward the ISO14001 quality programme, widening the scope of the company’s ISO9001: 2008 Quality Management System. He will also be initiating a series of companywide programmes to extend ArtSystems competitive advantage.
"The key fact with any quality review or programme is to actively engage both staff and customers to improve what we do. Many aspects of our work require close understanding of our customers’ needs and our aim is to continue this and deepen our understanding in the coming months,” said Cooksey.
“Simon’s appointment is in recognition not only of his superb work over the last couple of years in bringing our quality processes like ISO 9001 up to spec but also in overseeing expansion in key areas such as the company’s technical department.
