Pureprint earns graduate status from WWF’s Global Forest and Trade Network

Pureprint Group has been confirmed as eligible to graduate from WWF’s Global Forest and Trade Network in the UK (GFTN-UK).

To graduate from the GFTN-UK, a participant’s trade in forest products needs to be consistently more than 95% credibly certified (FSC) and/or recycled material. Another pre-requisite relates to the origin and legality of material used. No material in the two lowest GFTN reporting categories with no clear origin or legality is allowed. Pureprint Group has been successful in meeting both of these requirements.

Julia Young, manager of GFTN in the UK, said: “Pureprint Group is dedicated to understanding the impacts their business and services have on the environment, and to helping customers make the best choices for their printing. They are a respected voice in the industry on how to mainstream responsible paper and print. I am very pleased to be able to confirm they have graduated from GFTN this year, and look forward to our continuing partnership to engage and influence others in the sector”.
