EcoPrint has now finalised its group of 24 show ambassadors for the inaugural exhibition due to take place in September in Berlin.
The EcoPrint Ambassadors are a group of print professionals drawn from the EcoPrint Development Group, who are passionate about sustainability and each with a career steeped in print. Each ambassador performs the role of promoting sustainability in their own country and market sector, as well as the opportunity to contribute to the formation and content of EcoPrint 2012 and the production and performance of the show.
EcoPrint director, Marcus Timson, said: “Sustainability in print is not limited to one sector, it affects the entire industry, and this is reflected in the diverse backgrounds of ambassadors. We are delighted to have assembled such an experienced and committed group of people. EcoPrint 2012 will be the first time the industry leaders gather to address sustainability head-on and it’s becoming increasingly clear that no-one can afford to be on the outside of this debate.”
In a video released by EcoPrint 2012 on the EcoPrint YouTube channel, the ambassadors can be heard discussing why sustainability is important to print businesses.
