Cross Media 2012’s Print and Innovation Theatre to highlight value of print

The Print and Innovation Theatre, sponsored by Canon, is one of six free seminar theatres at Cross Media 2012 (3-4 September 2012, Business Design Centre, London). The theatre aims to provide printers with new strategies to transform their businesses in order to capitalise on multi-media marketing, the latest printing technologies and digital innovations.

Seminars will be presented by speakers from major brands such as Canon Europe, Fuijifilm Europe, Precision Printing and XMPIE and will feature panel discussions and individual talks.

On day one, seminars will look at how printers can position themselves for success in the cross media world and how they should be working with marketers and publishers to support their businesses. Practical advice and insight about the changing marketing and publishing landscapes will be discussed and visitors will understand what this means for their businesses.

On day two, visitors will hear about how digital technologies have had a huge impact on the media landscape including consumers’ increased expectation of interactivity and engagement. The seminars will also look at tools and technologies such as QR and AR codes and how these can be harnessed in print-based media, enabling consumers to interact and engage more deeply.
