Oasis hits the ground running for Exib and Asics

Oasis Graphics was the graphics house of choice for exhibition stand builder Exib’s installation and gallery for the Japanese athletics equipment company Asics, based at the St Martins Lane Hotel, London. A temporary installation for the duration of the Olympic Games, Exib and Oasis created the Asics gallery as a 9m x 4m space featuring complex multi-layered graphics and lighting, with artwork designed for Asics by noted Brazilian street artist Mateus Bailon.

Oasis printed over 50m² of full colour vinyl prints for walls and windows featuring designs and illustrations based around the legendary Finnish long distance runner, Lasse Virén. The layers and cutouts made it a technical and complex job for the four strong installation team from Oasis, but the installation completed on time and to budget.

Exib marketing director Neil Johnson explained why the company uses Oasis as its preferred graphics house: "We chose Oasis because our previous experience working with the company has demonstrated that it has capable, efficient and well organised site installation crews. Oasis also produces work to exacting standards in the sort of timescales that seem to cause problems for other graphic houses. With scarcely a week between the arrival of the designs to the delivery and installation, once again Oasis pulled out the stops and delivered with the quality and speed we have come to expect."
