Planet Positive relaunches ‘7 Days to Sustainability’

Following a four-month trial period which saw over 350 organisations participate in its ‘7 Days to Sustainability’ offering, Planet Positive is relaunching the free sustainability programme that offers advice in an easy to action format.

Once registered at www.7days2sustainability.com/register, each business receives a campaign poster and seven daily emails containing practical sustainability advice. The emails cover key topics such as energy efficiency, waste and recycling, travel, food, water, health and well-being. There is also advice on how businesses can communicate the success of their programme to help with brand enhancement.

Businesses are able to carry out the programme at their own pace, set up a Green Team to engage employees and deliver immediate cost savings, local media attention and improved links with suppliers and customers.

The campaign has received some fantastic support from individuals such as sustainability guru Jonathon Porritt, and Greg Barker, Minister of State for Climate Change. Deborah Meaden, from BBC’s Dragons Den, has also backed the campaign, stating: “I would recommend that every business joins the campaign.”

As Steve Malkin, CEO of Planet Positive explained: “By making sustainability easy to adopt, through the 7 Days to Sustainability programme, the final barrier to widespread adoption is no longer an issue.”
