Shuttleworth MIS 5.2 introduced

Shuttleworth Business Systems has introduced Version 5.2 of its MIS software. Updates include a new ‘Advanced Filtering’ capability that enables users to only see data that’s relevant to them throughout the system.

Other new features include a ‘History Function’ to all areas to enable easy access to recently opened records and new ‘Custom Buttons’ make is easy to add user definable buttons to the Ribbon Toolbar which can be set to run any application outside the Shuttleworth System.

In addition, the new ‘Automated Export’ functionality enables users to export data to Excel or csv files. The exported file can then be edited and will update the format of the report and retain the changes each time the export is run. Exported reports can also be scheduled to update automatically at a set month/day/time.

Fine Print Services in Oxford has been beta testing the 5.2 release. MD Dan Bakewell, said: “We have found the new functionality really useful, but my favourite feature in the 5.2 release is the ability to create filters and customise views. You just click to view the exact information required and combine this with the recently added ‘Export to csv’ file button; it’s really quick and easy to export data and create reports.”

This year will also see a further release from Shuttleworth which will include a new mobile CRM App and new functionality called ‘Milestones’ where transactions and events will automatically update a status of a Job/Project as it progresses through the business.  The next release is currently being beta tested and will be due for a commercial release in July 2013.
