Bladen Box has bought a Zünd G3 L-3200CVE16 cutter with the integrated Zünd CutCentre software to provide a streamlined workflow from printing on the company’s Oce Arizona 360GT through to finishing.
Bladen Box creates bespoke displays and packaging with a portfolio of free-standing displays, dump bins, cardboard standees and counter display units.
The Zünd G3 has the facility to cut, crease and fold using the universal tool module, but Bladen Box is also looking at other modules that will allow it to incorporate plastics and polypropylene into its product offering.
Bladen Box, which installed the unit in January, has noticed a 20% saving on materials so far based on this new process, as well as improved turnaround times.
