Mutoh ValueJet sales push up Colourgen revenue

Colourgen is citing the rise in popularity of Mutoh ValueJet printers as one of the main reasons for a 12.5% rise is sales revenue for the year ending June 2013. It says sales of other products, including Seiko I Infotech ColorPainters, Caldera Rips and Kala laminators have also increased.

Managing director, Jeff Biggs, said: “There are plenty of reasons to be positive about the coming year. Both the Mutoh and Seiko II printers have shown very solid growth and there are some promising prospects for Seiko II around the new ColorPainter M-64S series, which was launched at Fespa. These increased printer sales have also boosted associated products, such as Caldera Rips and Kala laminators.”

Biggs added: “We expect solid growth for the Mutoh ValueJet range over the coming year - not only for traditional display graphics printing but also for eco-solvent and dye sublimation applications in the soft signage and textile markets. We are also looking to drive new end users to put Seiko ColorPainters on their shopping list.”

October should see the availability of the new Seiko II ColorPainter M Series which runs at 32m2/h, a maximum 360x360 dpi, and uses odourless eco solvent inks.
