Mimaki JFX200-2513 gets UK debut at Sign and Digital UK

The 2.5m x 1.3m (bed size) Mimaki JFX200-2513 LED UV flatbed printer will get its UK debut at Sign and Digital UK 2014 at the end of this month.

Announced in October last year and subsequently premiered at Viscom Dusseldorf, the unit is suited to the UK and Ireland's 8ft x 4ft rigid sheet market and can print up to 25m2/hr.

It runs with three different ink types: LH-100, a hard UV-cure ink; LUS-150, a UV flexible ink that extends to 150%; and PR-100, a primer ink that can be used as a pre-treatment agent to improve ink adhesion on difficult surfaces. At the show the printer will be running with LUS-150 inks.

At the time of its introduction Mike Horsten, general manager marketing EMEA for Mimaki Europe, said the JFX200-2513 “is designed based on customer input as an entry level printer with extreme ease of use but with many advanced features.”

The Mimaki JFX200-2513 features variable dot function by jetting three ink dot sizes at once. The printer also features a white ink, and Mimaki Circulation Technology, which eliminates issues with white ink sedimentation. Layout pins hold boards in place, improving loading and unloading accuracy.

"The JFX200-2513 is a very exciting product for Mimaki," said UK distributor Hybrid industrial products specialist, Mike Lewis. "The combination of productivity, quality, flexibility, ease of use and its amazing price delivers a compelling creative and business solution."
