Brook International have been working within the local community especially with South Craven School. Using a variety of fabrics from the Brook International range the students of the school have been creating amazing work in the Design and Technology Textiles Dept.
The students that have been studying for their GCSE’s were given the topic of Pop Art, Art Nouveau or Punk and asked to design and make a piece of work that could be potentially sold at the famous Dover Street Market in London. Brook International provided the school with a selection of their fabrics which included Brook Woven Flag 155g, Brook Knitted Flag 115g and Brook Ripstop Polyester FR.
The year 7 students at the school have been busy designing and stencil printing their own pump bags on the Brook Artist Canvas 300g. One of the main uses for this canvas is Soft Signage/Display Banners Exhibition Graphics and Interior Print. This fabric can be printed Latex, UV and Dye Sub – Paper Transfer printed.
The results of the students work is outstanding and Brook International wish every student Good Luck in their future careers.
