Antalis and Balreed do their bit for PrintIt!

Paper and packaging distributor Antalis has made “a sizeable contribution” to the PassIt! fundraising campaign, part of the PrintIt! education initiative.

Antalis has now handed over the fundraising baton to Balreed for the month of February where a team will be attempting to complete an endurance run on 27 February. A few days before the company will be hosting students from Cornwallis Academy at a fact-finding event at its Maidstone HQ.

Rashida Petch, teacher at the academy, said: “Balreed has kindly given my year 9 GCSE Graphic Products students the opportunity to visit its HQ offices. The students will get to see, first-hand, how products are printed and made on a commercial level. This will help them with completing the PrintIt! national competition that they have been working on and bring printing techniques to life. This information will also be relevant when the students complete their controlled assessment and GCSE examination at the end of the course.”
