IPIA chief resigns

The Independent Print Industries Association’s (IPIA) chief executive Andrew Pearce has resigned. He steps down on 28 February. The IPIA Council has met to discuss the future direction of the association, and said it will be moving towards the appointment of a successor in the coming weeks. The IPIA Secretariat will operate under the direct control of the IPIA Council until that process has been completed.

Kath Doran, MD of Spectrum Plastics and chair of the IPIA Council, said: “Andrew Pearce has been an assiduous CEO of the IPIA since 2007, under his leadership the IPIA has gone from strength to strength and evolved into the strong and well-recognised Association it is today. His vision has brought new and interesting partnerships and collaborations together for the benefit of all sections of the IPIA membership, and we wish him every success in his new role.”

The IPIA, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary, has two upcoming events: The Spring Networking Lunch to be held at the Bank Restaurant in Birmingham on 20 March; and

the 6th Annual Innovations Conference ‘Sunshine in a Box’ at Twycross Zoo, Warwickshire on 16th April.
