Versa Tech cutter gets first UK show outing

The Versa Tech cutter from Blackman and White will get its first UK exhibition appearance at Sign and Digital UK.

The company, which designs and manufactures its large-format cutters from its base in Essex, recently added the Versa Tech to its established MasterCut range. The newcomer is the result of a decade of product development , and offers crease, kiss cut, router, drag knife, oscillating knife and driven rotary knife and laser on a single conveyorised or flatbed heavy-duty table. Users can buy one tool initially, then add others as necessary. Dual driven tooling with interchangeable ‘drop-in’ tools, both oscillating head and driven wheel, allows for quick change of cutting technique.

The Versa Tech can cut widths up to 3.2m, and to carry out long production runs on heavy duty materials such as acrylics and Dibond, it has a 2.5kW water-cooled router. And a 100w laser is a useful option for textile cutting.

“The sign and graphics market is always moving at a furious pace with innovations in both media and print technology, and our customers rely on the ability to diversify and handle new materials to capitalise on the opportunities that brings,” said managing director Alex White.
