Still time to enter Fespa World Wrap Masters tournament

Final calls are being made to those wanting to enter the Fespa World Wrap Masters tournament. The event, sponsored by 3M and Mutoh, will see up to 36 individuals from across the world compete to win the title of World Wrap Master at Fespa 2015 in Cologne later this month.

Items being wrapped include Opel ‘Adam’ cars, famous for their curvature and small size, 2m tall space rockets, and Scandinavian designed vacuum jugs from Eva Solo to demonstrate the complexity of wrapping ‘above and beyond’ a typical vehicle application.

The qualifying round will be in the Wrap Hub at Fespa 2015. Qualifiers join regional champion wrappers from Africa, Brasil, Russia, and France in the global final of the World Wrap Masters. The top 12 wrappers will then compete in the final, taking place on the last two days (21-22 May) of the show and the World Wrap Masters champion will be announced on Friday 22 May, with the top three finalists winning trophies and cash prizes of 2,500 Euro, 1,250 Euro and 750 Euro respectively.

Judges include Ole Solskin Ravn, owner of Suntint in Denmark, Klaus Willekens of 3M, and Justin Pate of 3M - a certified graphics instructor/installer specialising in vehicle graphics installations and presenter of The Wrap Institute.
