Inaugural Kathy Woodward Award for Learning presented

The BPIF’s first Kathy Woodward Award for Learning has been awarded to Chris Pinborough, manufacturing manager at Ancient House Press. Launched in July in memory of the BPIF’s former CEO who passed away a year previously, the £1,000 Award – sponsored by Webmart – has been set up to support individuals in the print, packaging and graphic design industries to further their careers.

Pinborough, a recent BPIF Level 5 Management Programme Graduate, said “I feel incredibly humble and proud to have won. Kathy was a true ambassador for print, her philosophy to develop staff for the future is something I aim to achieve at a more local level. I plan to invest the money on my fees for the BPIF MSc Management course which starts in October, a course I am very much looking forward to. The Level 5 Management Programme was such a success and I am sure this course will continue in the same vein.
