CMYUK is offering free prepress and operator training to all UK EFI Vutek printerusers throughout 2016. The training courses will take place at CMYUK in Shrewsbury from 9am to 5pm. Prepress training courses run 13 Jan, 10 Feb, 17 Feb, 9 Mar, 16 Mar. Vutek refresh training is on 19-20 Jan, 23-24 Feb, 22-23 Mar. Lunch will be provided, and places are first come, first serve basis.
The prepress training is a one day course covering white ink file creation using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; file preparation for cutting; and live experience of complete production workflow with Create-Rip-Print-Cut. Participants will need a basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
The refresh training is a two-day course covering Fiery XF Rip overview (excl. colour profiling); printer control software overview; health and safety; maintenance; media handling; experimenting with different media and applications. Participants will need a minimal knowledge of the Fiery XF Rip (import job and print) and Vutek printers (load media and print).
