The BPIF has appointed Carys Davis as public affairs advisor following the retirement of Andrew Brown.
BPIF chief executive Charles Jarrold said: “It’s vital that, as an industry, we communicate our interests, strengths and concerns to policy decision makers. This is a key role for the BPIF, and I’m delighted to welcome Carys, whose expertise and knowledge will be a great asset to the print industry.”
Davis is owner/director of The Other Place. Prior to setting up the company in 2016, she ran the Financial Conduct Authority’s public affairs team, and cross-communications teams in the third sector, following roles in parliament as policy adviser and researcher to Danny Alexander MP.
