Shaun Hobson takes up international role at Metamark (UK)

Metamark (UK) has appointed Shaun Hobson to the newly created role of vice president international sales. He will report to CEO Paul French, and will spearhead investment in Metamark’s international business. 

Hobson’s role will be based in Europe, with international responsibility, and will support the execution of Lancaster-based Metamark’s overall growth plans. His recent experience includes director level business growth roles in Fortune 500 companies including Avery Dennison and 3M. French said of the appointment: “Our products and brand reputation are being recognised and warmly received in the markets we serve. The time is now right for us to take our product and our business ethos and scale Metamark internationally. In Shaun we have a strong and well-known industry player who has successfully managed fast-growing international operations for some of the biggest names in the business. He has the experience we need and will play a key role in delivering our growth plans. With Shaun aboard, we’ll be able to accelerate the pace of our development and achieve the growth we desire.” Hobson added, “When I see what Metamark has achieved in the UK in such a short space of time, I am really looking forward to replicating its success Internationally.”
