Sheffield-based Diamond Dispersions, a manufacture of water-based pigmented dispersions and dispersed dyes for inkjet inks, has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. The company, which has seen a 40% year-on-year growth, exports 85% of everything it produces, China being its biggest market.

Tecna Display has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. The company, which designs, produces and sells the modular display system t3, exports to more than 30 countries and has recorded an overall 92% increase in overseas sales in the last three years

To help address key sustainability questions, HP has assembled a panel of experts for an Eco Leadership Forum at Drupa. Show attendees will have the chance to attend each hour-long panel discussion and participate in debates, which will take place at the HP tent outside Hall 4.

Matan Digital Printers will unveil 3m and 5m-wide versions of its new eight-colour UV hybrid Barak 8Q printers at Drupa. The machine uses Matan's patent-pending PDS technology and is said to print up to 353m2/hr. Features include automatic double-sided printing, an automatic flatbed loader/un-loader and inline finishing. As a show special the company said the line will start at €169K (for the Barak 3  - 3.5m with  16 heads).

 

Fujifilm has released XMF PrintCentre V3, its Web-to-print system that allows print companies to create multiple e-commerce Websites for selling print, and manages the print buying process from online purchasing through to delivering print-ready PDF files into a print production system.

 

Gerber Scientific Products has introduced Omega 5.0, which Dana Goodale, director of software solutions, has described as “chock-full of time-saving features”.
