Sign and Digital UK will see ArtSystems introduce a new ClustaRack designed to hold two inch and/or three inch core size rolls of media for storage. The company will show the product alongside the latest Summa cutters including the new F-Series flatbed, the DC5X, S-Class T Series and XY Autotrim machines.

New from Fuji is the Inca Onset R40LT wide-format, flatbed UV printer.

Kyocera has opened an inkjet test lab in Esslingen, near Stuttgart, Germany. It will supplement the inkjet design centre at Kyocera’s European base, which opened in September 2013 to provide technical service for printer and ink manufacturers that are working with Kyocera KJ4 Series inkjet printheads. The facility has three Kyocera field engineers who provide onsite support and remote technical service to customers.

This is because this professional-grade software for layout and graphic design now supports document output in PDF/X-4 format, verified by callas pdfToolbox. This means that PDF/X-4 files exported from QuarkXPress 2015 will be certified with the same technology used in Adobe Acrobat.

Clicks Print Limited, the central London-based printer, has ordered a second LumeJet S200 printer, less than six months after installing its first, because it needs additional capacity to meet demand it expects to be generated by a new B2C print brand to be unveiled by the company later this year.
