Talking Print supports Watford FC’s FA Cup bid with gigantic good-luck banner

In the run up to its historic FA Cup title bid Watford FC has been presented with a 2.5 x 6m banner containing more than 1,300 good luck messages from supporters from over 100 countries.
David Hyams, MD of Talking Print – which shows marketers, printers and creatives how to add audio, lights and video to all forms of print - was instrumental in coordinating the project and designing the banner with support from Sotic, which managed the data and online forms to create the messages, and Stylographics which printed the banner. “The message for the print industry is this is a great example of Web-to-print. It also highlights our expertise with innovation in print,” said Hyams who added: “I also presented the team with a memento video brochure, and as I am a mad Watford fan, you can imagine what working with them on the project means to me.” Hyams explained: “The idea started in 1999 when we did our first banner for the play-off final and we’ve repeated it a number of times since, however this one has exceeded anything we’ve done before in terms of size. Talking Print will be launching a new B2C service in June this year.
