ISA-UK announces plans for new awards scheme

The ISA-UK (formerly the BSGA) is starting new awards scheme. The first ISA-UK Sign and Print Awards will take place this autumn and will be open to entries from across the sign and print industry.
The exact date and location of the awards event are expected to be announced in February. It is second new awards scheme slated for the autumn - towards the end of 2019 Fespa UK Association announced that it, in association with Vism, would be running the UK Graphic Awards back-to-back with a new Thrive in Print conference for wide-format printing business managers and owners on 8-9 September 2020. ISA-UK director David Catanach said of its decision: “Over the past 18 months the association has gone through a period of significant change and growth, including establishing an exciting partnership with the International Sign Association based in the US. As we continue to evolve and maintain our commitment to serving the needs of our members and the wider sign and print industry, the time is right to make some major changes to our flagship event, the sign awards.” Rob Lambie, president of ISA-UK, added: “Being shortlisted for an ISA-UK Sign and Print Award shows that your industry’s leading trade association has recognised your work as being among the best in the business. There are few customers who will not be reassured by an accolade of this type.”
