Hybrid offers two new Mimaki machines

Hybrid Services has added the Mimaki TS100-1600 and the Mimaki Tiger-1800B MkIII printers to its offering.

The TS100-1600 is Mimaki’s latest addition to its 100 series, and will be available from April this year. It has a 1,600mm print width and runs at 70m2/h in its fastest mode. The printer, which uses 1l ink bottles, is equipped with NCU (Nozzle Check Unit), NRS (Nozzle Recovery System), and DAS (Dot Adjustment System). Mimaki’s RasterLink 7 Rip software is supplied as standard, though PSPs can also choose to add TxLink4, an alternative Mimaki original Rip software platform.

The Tiger-1800B MkIII is a high-speed, high-volume industrial textile printer available as a direct-to-textile (reactive or direct sublimation) or sublimation transfer printing solution.Features include the ‘Mimaki Printer Controller’ (MPC) software that enables users to set-up, run and output data with one-touch operation. PSPs can run automated overnight by sending multiple jobs with different settings to the print queue. A nozzle recovery function further reduces downtime by allowing production to continue if the printer encounters a nozzle malfunction.

The Tiger-1800B MkIII is supported by TxLink4  software - its new ‘Parallel Rip function’ can manage multiple sets of print data at once to maximise productivity, and a ‘Variable print function’ provides printers with the flexibility to produce creative apparel applications. The system has 16-bit rendering for smoother gradations and it can handle high-speed data transfer thanks to its 10 GB-based Ethernet controller.
