Mactac launches Eco range
Mactac has launched an Eco-product range comprising Imagin printing media and Permacolor protective films. The Imagin JT 1429 SP is a white matt PP film for inkjet printing, coated with an emulsion semi-permanent acrylic adhesive. The JT 5422 P is a white glossy PP film and JT 5499 R clear glossy PET film with an optically clear removable adhesive for eco-mild-UV- and latex inkjet printing. New Permacolor films include the PG 7494 satin PP film, PG 7498 matt PP film and PG 7499 gloss PP film coated with a permanent emulsion acrylic adhesive. These 100 % chlorine-free self-adhesive films are coated with emulsion acrylic adhesives.
To help designers capitalise on the growing demand for architectural graphics, Mactac has enriched its Imagin product range for solvent/eco-solvent/UV/latex inkjet printing with:?WW 200, a white matt vinyl for interior wall posters on flat painted walls; WW 300, a white matt vinyl for interior and exterior application on difficult substrates (including latex painted flat walls); LAG 100, a soft clear polymeric film with a satin finish to cover graphics printed on Imagin WW 100 for direct application on brickwork, concrete etc. Imagin LAG 100 is a conformable film optimised to protect outdoor graphics from staining agents and graffiti.?
Also added to the Mactac range are Permafun structured decorative films - clear structured films that can be laminated onto plain coloured vinyl or digitally printed graphics to give coarse-grained wood, fine-grained wood, brushed metal, leather or glittering effect. The films have a five-year warranty for indoor and outdoor use and are not affected by cleaning agents.
Also new is the Glass Decor 600 range of clear PET films with four preprinted decorative patterns for interior glass partitions.
