The British Coatings Federation (BCF) has been awarded ‘Best Trade Association of the Year’ in the 2023 Memcom Excellence Awards.
Memcom Award judges commented on the entry: “The British Coatings Federation demonstrated a fantastic story of strategy in action, with commitment and alignment to clear goals and a holistic approach to organisational success - covering financial, customer, people and sustainability dimensions. We were impressed with the proactive approach to member management resulting in significant growth. We also welcomed BCF’s efforts to drive sustainability and the proactive approach to lobbying on behalf of the sector.”
Tom Bowtell, CEO of the BCF, said: “It’s five years since we were last recognised as the best trade association in the UK, and it’s fantastic to have achieved it again. I’m really proud of the team here at BCF and how they all go above and beyond expectations to support our industry. In the end, trade associations are about people, and I think that’s our key differentiator.”
