Taktiful Software Solutions launches

A new US-based company called Taktiful Software Solutions has officially launched, promising to unveil its first three products for the print embellishment space at Drupa (28 May-7 June, Düsseldorf). Founder and CEO Kevin Abergel said the UK wide-format print sector is within its sights following an initial focus on its domestic market in 2024.

The first SaaS products being spotlighted at Drupa, are:

Taktify - an AI-powered estimating and pricing software platform that provides the costs of production as well as the estimated market value for embellished print based on variables including job complexity, applications, zip/post codes, industry verticals etc.

Reaktor - an art file visualiser that allows users to proof and experiment with different embellishment effects in a virtual 3D environment.

Kreator - a generative AI tool automating the creative process to quickly and efficiently design embellishment files for print using Taktiful's proprietary training platform.

Abergel said: “We fully anticipate that Taktify will integrate wide-format equipment for estimation and pricing purposes by 2025. This strategic development is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our offerings and better serve our diverse customer base. Prior to this, we expect that both the Reaktor and Kreator products will be launched to support the wide-format market, as these products are more designed focused and relatively easy to adapt.”

He added: “Regarding the availability of our products in the UK, we are currently focusing on launching in the North American market this year, recruiting and billing out our distribution network. In parallel, we are currently working on optimising our pricing database for the European market for the Taktify product. We are targeting to introduce Taktify in the UK by late next year, with Reaktor and Kreator becoming available in advance of this timeline.

We also plan on being at Drupa with our first distribution partner, Harris And Bruno, who are also launching their first digital embellishment equipment at the show.”
