Recycling to help breast cancer sufferers

Recycling to help breast cancer sufferers

A new recycling scheme for empty toner-ink cartridges (and mobile phones) just been started by Blandford-based print waste management specialist J&G Environmental which will donate all profits from the scheme to Breast Cancer Care.

The new recycling scheme is available throughout the UK and is being run in conjunction with EA approved waste carrier collect2save, part of Ronells global cartridge and mobile phone recycling service. collect2save aims to recycle all the inkjet cartridges and all the mobile phones which are reconditioned and sold to developing countries where they are most needed.

The scheme is open to both J&G customers and non-customers, and organisations wanting to participate will be provided with one or more collecting boxes. The boxes are easy to assemble and can be positioned at strategic locations in an office or factory. When the boxes are full they will be collected free of charge by J&G from existing customers. Full boxes located at other organisations taking part in the scheme will be picked-up by collect2save.
