DCP acquisition by CWE Solutions creates one of the UK’s biggest resellers
Large-format reseller CWE Solutions has taken-over the business of Sheffield-based reseller DCP Systems to form DCP Solutions, which now trades as a fully owned subsidiary. The acquisition means that CWE Solutions is now one of the UK’s largest independent resellers of large-format products. London-based CWE Solutions is currently the biggest HP reseller in Europe and together with DCP now has a portfolio of wide-format hardware and consumables that includes products from Epson, Cannon and Mutoh too.
Doug Gilbertson, CWE managing director, said: "We are delighted to be able to combine our product portfolio, knowledge and client-base with DCP. It has transformed into a reputable company that can now offer a variety of different services and to get a foothold into markets that CWE Solutions traditionally hasn't extensively explored."
Gilbertson's vision is to continually improve and increase, starting with the sales force at the Sheffield office. Long-term growth aspirations result in an immediate recruitment drive for sales staff especially as their next year's turnover target is to be in excess of £13m.
