PrintCafé franchisees sought

PrintCafé is looking for new franchisees in a bid by owner GDL - a group of print businesses - to expand the brand in the UK where there are currently five stores. Another 13 are due to open in the first quarter of the year.

PrintCafé is a walk-in and online digital printing brand that offers a bespoke ‘Personalise’ service for one-off customer items as well as more template based items. The franchise scheme has been developed as an easy add-on to an existing digital print bureau.

Tony Barnett, managing director at John E Wright, said: "For minimal investment, PrintCafé  has transformed all our old tired print shops. The brand has direct appeal to the 18-30 age group and we have become quite trendy within the local design and university communities. People come to us because they associate the brand with new ideas and a ‘can help’ attitude.  With sharply increased sales, the result on the bottom line has been very rewarding."

PrintCafé promises to be with new franchisees every step of the way; from store design, product examples, promotional leaflets, national and localised PR and marketing campaigns, twitter and social media, advice on staffing through to specially negotiated sponsorship and equipment deals.
