Evolon production capacity increased

Increasing demand for Evolon PVC-free wide-format media has prompted Freudenberg to spend around five million Euros on expanding capacity at its Colmar factory in France. Construction is scheduled for completion by the end of October.

Evolon runs with water-based, solvent/eco-solvent, UV-cured and latex inks. The new production line will allow Freudenberg to further develop its sales beyond Europe especially in the Americas and Asia.

With Oeko-Tex 100 product class 1 classification, which makes it suitable for babies' skins, Evolon is made of neutral polymers and does not contain any bonding chemical. The production process is solvent free. Production has ISO 9001, ISO 14001 environmental certification and OHSAS 18001 certification for safety.
