Neschen is again sponsoring the nature photography festival ‘Horizonte Zingst’ and supplying the digital print media and protective laminates for the event’s open-air installations.
This year, the picture show’s theme is ‘be careful’ and organisers will be presenting ‘Giants of the Sea’ as part of this. Underwater shots of whales will be displayed as 3 x 3m fine art prints right next to the sea at the Baltic Sea resort of Zingst. Another open-air installation at the festival shows a herd of elephants along the Jordanstrasse road. Visitors are accompanied on their way to the art gallery life-size elephant images.
‘Solvoprint easy 80 GSP removable’ self-adhesive, white glossy PVC film gives a high colour brilliance and photo-realistic print quality to the prints which were produced on an Epson SureColor printer using weatherproof inks. As the exhibits are exposed to extreme weather conditions, the digital prints are protected with the Neschen laminate ‘filmolux performance matt’.
