Bordeaux Digital Printink brings out latex-based inks

Bordeaux Digital Printink used Fespa 2013 to launch latex based Eden inks.

Eden TX ink for textiles, is a water-based ink for digital printing on natural, synthetic and blended fabrics without pre-treatment, multiple printing devices or several types of ink. It currently supports Epson DX-4/DX-5/DX-6/DX-7 printheads, as well as the Ricoh Gen4. Available colours are C, M, Y, K, Lc and Lm.

“Our latex based ink series is odour free, offers excellent durability, superior adhesion, high light fastness and outstanding elongation properties, making it an excellent alternative to solvent ink for indoor and outdoor applications,” said Moshe Zach, CEO and founder of Bordeaux Digital Printink. “All this, while providing 30% to 50% lower ink consumption compared to OEM Eco solvent ink.”

Bordeaux’s water-based ink demonstrations at the show also included the first showing of its Eden SD direct sublimation ink and recently announced Fuze SC eco solvent ink for Epson Surecolor S series printers.
