Flex-Europa brings new Flora printers to European market

Flex-Europa has brought the Flora range of large-format printers to the European market. Four years after it started distributing Flora machines in various overseas markets, Flex-Europa managing director Kadri Ceylan said they are now ready for the UK/European market, hence their showing at Fespa 2013.

“We’ve worked with the manufacturer to adapt the design etc. and have been testing two machines at out own UK base for a year now,” he said. “Fespa 2013 is the first time we’ve shown them to the UK market.”

The newly introduced Flora PP2512UV Eos UV flatbed has a maximum full bleed print size of 2.54 x 1.22m and there’s a 2.5m roll-to-roll print option. The inkset comprises CMYK plus white/varnish as options. In terms of production, the top quoted speed on the flatbed is 63m2/hr (49m2/hr roll-to-roll), and print resolution is 900 x 1200dpi. Pricing starts at around £75,000, with installation and technical support provided by Flex-Europa.
