Xerox unveils IJP 2000

Xerox used Fespa to launch its Wide Format IJP 2000 first shown in prototype at Drupa last year and most recently at Sign and Digital UK. The device uses Memjet’s standard wide-format array with five heads stitched together for a 42in print width.

Key features of the IJP 2000 single pass printer include speeds of up to 420m2/hr at 1600 x 1600 dpi. It comes with a Caldera GrandRip+ and includes spot colour matching. Optional is the Xerox FreeFlow VI Design Express software – an Adobe InDesign plug-in simplifies the design and creation of variable signs; includes templates and step-by-step instructions.
