LFP Media made by Folex and Regulus generate added value for production and sales

The leading theme of the FESPA presentation by Folex and Regulus has been the creation of additional benefits for print shops and final customers for the production and sale of display graphics and REPRO films.

"The repeating topic in many discussions in London has been the constantly shrinking margins of commodity products", Ralf Koenig, CEO of Regulus, summarizes his perception of the situation of the industry. "On the other hand there is an enormous additional business potential by introducing products with added value, which can vastly increase productivity and quality levels of large format printing". As an example, the combined portfolio of the Swiss-German coating specialists offers options to increase printing speeds, making use of their new Quick-Dry technology. Furthermore, an innovative coating with textured surface has been presented, which in many cases eliminates the need for lamination. Other news included Roll-Up, Pop-Up and Backlit films based on Polypropylene and Polyester as well as many different Canvas versions, which offer quality without compromise for display graphics and interior decoration. "What is the use of cutting-edge designs, if it is presented in a pale and badly wrinkled display?", says Simon Warren, product manager of the Folex group. Also with the latest Repro Film and Digital Press products a new standard is set for the customers, who would make use of the advantages of quality products more often - but they have to be trained. "Education of customers is the key to success on all levels of the supply chain", Simon Warren explains. "We will invest much marketing effort to promote this aspect".
