Rocket sees next phase of investment

The end of May will see fast-growing Watford-based Rocket become the first UK company to take on board a Flow+ MIS sold via Caldera.

The same period will see Rocket install an EFI Vutek GS5000 roll-to-roll printer as the company seeks double-digit growth.

Rocket commercial director Anthony Rider said: “Both investments prove that we’re doing what we said we’d do earlier in the year (see the interview here) to expand and strengthen our position in the large-format marketplace.” The company increased its turnover by 25% in 2013 and has expanded factory space, hired new staff and been increasing capacity with various print and finishing equipment additions plus investment in a Caldera colour management system.

On the new Flow+ MIS investment, Rider added: “We looked at loads of systems but we have found Flow+ to be by far the most user friendly and it links very well with our Calera Rips.”
