Chinese firms look for UK distributors

Chinese inkjet printer manufacturers Flora Digital Printing Systems and HandTop are looking for UK distributors for their large-format machines.

Flora is looking for UK dealers for its F1320UV Hybrid printer introduced to the European market at Fespa Digital. International sales manager Sunney Lee said the company started selling the 3.2m wide machine in China last year and hopes to capture European interest for the unit which costs under 200,000 dollars - a direct dollar to sterling conversion would be about right she said.

The F1320UV uses greycscale Konica Minolta printheads (variable drop size 14 - 42pl) and is said to print at up to 67m2/hr. There are various colour configurations (CMYK LcLm, white and varnish). It can handle media up to 51mm thick and an optional roll-to-roll kit supports flexible media up to 325cm wide.

HandTop, also exhibiting at Fespa Digital, is seeking a UK distributor of its new HT1600 UV Hybrid.
