Sign Warehouse installs upgraded AJ 740i

The Sign Warehouse has installed Ireland's first upgraded Roland AJ 740i at its premises in Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim. The new machine was bought to increase production speed at the company which produces a wide range of van graphics, internal and external signage, banners, LED signs and window graphics.
The AdvancedJet AJ-740i is Roland's fastest model yet. Cormac Rogers, director of the Sign Warehouse, said of its installation:  "We produce van graphics and full wraps for the likes of Irish Pride and O'Hara's bakery, a lot of signage for BWG value centres, Tubs and Tiles, as well as 8 x 4ft signs, stickers and Foamex lettering onto buildings.

"The reason we choose the AJ740i was for increased production output and cheaper running costs. Up to now we have used a Soljet Pro III XJ-540 for most of our work but from now on this will be used for the likes of stickers etc. and the AJ740i will handle all the other work. At this time of the year we produce a lot of corrieboard posters for festivals using a low grade 100mic vinyl. We can print these now on the AJ 740i in about two and half minutes which is a significant improvement in production time."
