ArtSystems to bring Summa F-Series F2630 to UK by end of month

ArtSystems will bring the Fespa launched Summa F-Series F2630 Flatbed cutter to the UK by the end of this month.

With a working area of 2650mm x 3050mm the F2630 also has a wide range of tools and modules over those on the already available smaller F1612. A 1kW router is also available for hard board material up to 25mm thickness.

The working surface is split up into 12 vacuum zones, each of which can be automatically switched on or off individually. With the tandem mode the active working area on the flatbed can be divided into front and back processing areas.

“The original F1612 has been very successful in moving many traditional sign makers into new markets and helping to boost their print finishing workflow enabling them to grow this side of their business. We’re confident that the new F2630 will do the same but also give us the opportunity to move into the packaging, textile and leather markets in a more direct way. We’re very confident that it will make a big impact in these markets,” said Andrew Edwards, sign and display divisional manager.
