Innotech has become the official UK reseller of Spike, a smart laser measurement solution for sign and graphics professionals undertaking site surveys.
Made by ikeGPS, Spike has been available in the US since last year and will be shown here in the UK at Sign and Digital UK. It allows you to quickly measure signs by capturing the width, height, and area of a space - just by taking a photo from your smartphone or tablet. You can measure existing signs for replacement or maintenance, or measure areas for a new placement. The Spike device, Spike mobile app, Spike cloud and your smartphone or tablet all work together.
Measurements are recorded with the photo and can be exported as a PDF or high res JPGs, so they can easily be shared with customers or designers. The photo record can also be used to create proofs, add photo verification to estimates, and complete permit applications. Photos can be accessed at any time to be remeasured, via the mobile app or cloud-based tools, eliminating the need to return to the location for additional measurements.
Spike works with both Google Android and Apple iOS Smartphones and Tablets.
