Antalis Printall merges operations in Ireland
It's only a few months since Antalis Ireland announced a new trading division called Antalis Printall to service the sign, display and digital market in the Republic of Ireland but the departure of a number of key staff employed specifically to develop this division has resulted in the group merging its two Printall trading arms Antalis Printall and McNaughton Printall.
Paul Horgan from McNaughton Ireland will head up the new combined division as Eoin Heagney, newly appointed managing director of both companies, explained: "Antalis Ireland has always been more office based product wise where McNaughton's strength lay in the print sector. The move may have been forced upon us by the departure of these individuals but in retrospect it's probably the best thing that happened. It allows us to use a mix of two routes to market based on our UK overnight trucker service from Printall UK for next day delivery combined with purchasing directly from suppliers.
"The new merged operation here is now a much better business model because McNaughton Ireland has a well established customer base in the sign, display and digital market and the additional resources that Antalis brings to the table in terms of the supply chain will greatly strengthen the product offering available to our customers in Ireland."
