Service Graphics sets out its stall

Service Graphics is gearing up for a new property to house its Skelmersdale operations and is buying further new print equipment for the site. Alex Penner, recently appointed as managing director, said this latest move is part of a planned series of investments by owner Landry Kouakou.
“The journey out of plc ownership has been challenging. The business suffered a chronic level of underinvestment in the recent period, and the new investments in our business are part of a programme ensuring the continuity and growth of Service in 2019 and beyond. “Meeting our clients, you cannot fail to be impressed by their full and continued commitment to Service during this transition period - the formula is simple, excellent clients, excellent staff, excellent service. This is why we have restated our brand as Service Graphics and will now phase out our existing SG branding. “Since the summer, we have been investing in the latest print technology - including the Vutek 5r, Vutek FabriVu, Konsberg C64, and two SwissQ Nyalas. Structurally we have also quietly been reforming the senior management team. We are putting the right people in place to drive the business forward, though we will always be looking to expand the already talented team. “The strategy and funding are now in place to help realise the full potential of Service Graphics. This is just the start there will be further updates in the coming weeks and months.”
