The data is in for Fespa 2015, which attracted 23,137 individual visitors. In total there were 43,775 visits, including repeats, over the five days of the show in Cologne in May, an increase of 17% compared with the previous flagship Fespa event in London in 2013.

It’s a wrap
To mark the 175th anniversary of the Cunard Line, three Cunard Liners, the Queen Mary 2, the Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Victoria, sailed up the Mersey River and then performed their own ‘river dance’ to line up in formation. Leading in the ships was the Mersey Ferry wrapped in a modern version of the ‘dazzle’ pattern designed by Sir Peter Blake.
Drupa Prize awarded
Every year Messe Düsseldorf awards the Drupa Prize to the best doctoral thesis in the Arts Faculty at Heinrich Heine University. This year it has gone to historian and Dr Designate Nina Kleinöder for her dissertation ‘Occupational Health and Safety in the West German Iron and Steel Industry in the 20th Century.
