Hollanders said it will be increasing its manufacturing capabilities to keep up with demand for the ColorBooster 250 digital textile printer introduced into Europe at Fespa Digital earlier this year.

EFI has announced the installation of a new, hybrid roll/flatbed EFI H1625 LED printer at a Kansas City, Missouri, US-area Fastsigns franchise. The Gladstone, Missouri, Fastsigns centre is now growing its business with the 65-inch wide printer by producing high-quality, flatbed-printed parking lot signage, backlit signs and other display graphics.

So, how does DP Imaging manage to run such a successful operation in the face of such demands?

Since it opened its doors in November 2012 Cambridgeshire-based Red Monster Print has staked its reputation on offering ‘print prices that aren’t too scary’. The company picked up its second-user Mimaki JV3-160 two years ago in an online auction after it was recommended by colleagues in the industry, and it uses it to produce outdoor and roller banners for a variety of local clients including notoriously hard-to-please marketing and graphic design agencies.

In order to bring wide format printing in-house, Lancashire-based Ellison Printing invested in a new Mimaki CJV30-130 supplied by Paperlinx. Since taking delivery, the print company is benefitting from faster turnaround, increased productivity and improved margins.

Esko and Highcon have expanded their co-operation agreement; Highcon will distribute, install and support the Esko CAD Digital Front End (DFE) software to complement the Highcon Euclid digital cutting and creasing machine.
