Agfa has clinched two ‘Product of the Year’ awards from the Printing United Alliance – its Oberon RTR3300 won in the RTR UV category (over 80in) and the Jeti Tauro H3300 LED won top honours in the UV Hybrid/Flatbed High Volume Production Class category.
Over 200 entries were submitted across 85 awards categories, open to solutions available for sale in 2020 from the alliance’s member suppliers.
The Oberon is making its North America debut at Printing United Insight Days. It is a dedicated 3.3m roll-to-roll printer featuring speeds up to 150m²/h that comes in a 4-colour plus white and a 6-colour version. The dual-roll option is capable of handling two rolls up to 1.6 meters wide each. The Oberon’s UV LED inks are optimised for flexible media and obtained Greenguard Gold certification.
The Jeti Tauro H3300 LED printers produce prints up to 3.3m wide at speeds up to 453m²/h (4,876 ft²/h) at resolutions up to 1,200dpi. There’s a 4-colour and 6-colour (plus white or primer), and six configurations ranging from manual to fully automatic and roll printing.
