Eventureworks hits the right note with concert backdrop

Falkirk-based PSP Eventureworks has created the stage backdrop for concerts by Scottish band Skerryvore at locations across the UK, Europe and the USA.

For the job the company used Vista Display ST-117 from Soyang Europe, printed on its Roland Texart XT 640 dye-sublimation printer using Nazdar inks.

Eventureworks’ remit was to create a backdrop that would not only create a strong impact but be durable enough to be transported to the various concert locations. Eventureworks opted to use Vista Display ST-117, a 100% polyester warp-knitted display-type fabric that is certified fire retardant and features engineered crease recovery.

“It was the perfect material for us on this job,” said Eventureworks director Brian Gibb. “The core benefit is that stage lights do not cause any glare on the fabric, making it ideal for use before, during and after the band’s performance. In addition, it is certified as being fire retardant which is obviously very important. The printed graphics look really good!”
